Anime enthusiasts, mark your calendars and prepare for an exhilarating summer adventure as the highly anticipated “Sword of the Demon Hunter: Kijin Gentoushou” is gearing up for its release in the scorching months of 2024.

The official website for the Sword of the Demon Hunter Kijin Gentosho anime adaptation has recently released a teaser promotional video and announced the major cast and team members. Based on the novel series by Moto’o Nakanishi, the upcoming anime adaption is highly anticipated by fans of the series. The teaser promo video gives a glimpse of the show’s art style and animation, and the teaser visual showcases the main character, Kijin Gentosho, in a striking pose. The cast includes several well-known voice actors, such as Takuma Terashima, Rina Hidaka, and Yui Horie. The team behind the anime adaptation includes the director, Masahiro Takata, and the animation studio, Studio Hōkiboshi. Fans are eagerly awaiting the release of the anime, set for sometime in the near future.

The Sword of the Demon Hunter anime’s official website and X (previously Twitter) handle stated on Thursday, February 22, 2024, that the anime will launch in Summer 2024. Kazuya Aiura is directing the anime at Yokohama Animation Lab, with Deko Akao supervising the scripts.

Sword of the Demon Hunter: Kijin Gentoushou” tells the narrative of Jinta, a skilled demon hunter with a strange past. Set in a world where demons and humans cohabit. The series begins as a demonic revolt threatens the fragile peace between the two races, sending Jinta on a mission to discover the truth about his own heritage and the evil forces at work. Its a story of demons and humans that has continued for 170 years, from Edo to Meiji to Taisho to Showa to Heisei.

The teaser has showcased a breathtaking glimpse of the animation and fight scenes, and the art style, which seamlessly blends traditional Japanese aesthetics with modern animation techniques, enhances the overall viewing experience. Main Cast and Staff

Taku Yashiro will be providing the voice for Jinta, while Rena Ueda is set to portray Suzune, and Saori Hayami has been chosen for the role of Shirayuki in the main cast. The character design is in the hands of Taro Ikegami, and the musical composition for the series is being handled by Ryuichi Takada, Keiichi Hirokawa, and Kuniyuki Takahashi from MONICA.
